This event is open to all, and you DO NOT need to be an experienced shooter! This is FRIENDLY FUN COMPETITION....Well maybe not so friendly!!!
For either competition you will need:
Eye and Ear Pro (available for purchase as well)
Appropriate range wear/clothing
Must be pre-registered by May 25th, 2019
To keep things fair and exciting, we are providing NO DETAILS about the course of fire for either competition! Bring your A game and give it your best shot!
All competitors will be staged so that they cannot watch other competitor on the course while awaiting your turn. All competitors will go into there first run with no knowledge of the course!!!
COMPETITION RULES AND CONDUCT
Pistol competition will be conducted on Saturday and Rifle competition on Sunday. All competitors must report for competition no later than 0900 on each day. Mandatory firearms for the competition is as follows:
Pistol: semi-automatic with at least 3 magazines of 10 round capacity minimum, and at least 250 rounds of ammunition. (firearm and ammo rental/purchase is available onsite).
Rifle: semi-automatic with at least 3 magazines of 10 round capacity minimum, and at least 250 rounds of ammunition. (firearm and ammo rental/purchase is available onsite).
The initial registration fee is $100 for each day. This fee includes your first run of the day. All competitors are allowed to run the course as many times as desired for an additional fee of $25 per run. All runs are timed from a beginning whistle to the discharge of the last round. Your fastest time will be used should you run the course more than once. A penalty of 4 seconds will be added for each missed or un-negotiated target. The run times will be calculated and ranked from the fastest to the slowest. The 3 fastest run times will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.
Any unsportsmanlike conduct, safety infractions, and/or negligent discharges will result in automatic disqualification from that competition that day. In an attempt to make the competition fair and equal, the course will be briefed to each competitor immediately before the competitor negotiate the course. The other competitors will NOT be allowed to watch competitors negotiate the course. Only non-participating spectators will be able to watch all participants.
