This hands on course is taught out in the field, so you should dress accordingly to the weather and environment, and expect to have some clothes destroyed! Bring extra clothes.
Meet Lead Instructor
Daniel Surmi
Daniel Surmi is a SWAT Medic and sworn Police officer for the city of Grants Pass Oregon. Daniel served over 12 years in the U.S. Army as a Ranger Medic and Civil Affairs SGT, with almost 3 years of combat experience in both Iraq and Afghanistan. Current NREMT, certified to instruct PHTLS, TCCC, ACLS, PALS and BLS. Also qualified by the Oregon Department of Public Safety and Standards Training (DPSST) with shotgun, Pepper Ball, 40mm launcher, Taser, M4 carbine, MP5 and Glock 19, Graduated from National University with a bachelor of science in criminal justice.
