Jacqueline Yockey pulled her first trigger at the age of three when her father taught her to shoot the flame out of a birthday candle across a two car garage. This early introduction to the world of firearms started her on the path to her career in personal protection. Jacqueline is passionate about the second amendment and about a civilian’s right to defend themselves. In 2008 Jacqueline started her own female-focused firearm training company, Shoots Like A Girl, to address the growing need for relevant lethal, less-lethal and non-lethal personal protection education and training for women. Since that humble beginning, she has expanded her sphere of influence to provide a variety of quality training programs for both men and women alike. In 2014 Jacqueline joined Legal Heat, the nation’s leading concealed carry training company where she trains thousands of students per year. When Jacqueline is not in the classroom or on the range, she lectures on college campuses covering such subject matter as predator mindset, situational awareness, rape awareness and prevention, and domestic violence. Jacqueline is an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor, NRA Certified Personal Protection Inside the Home Instructor, NRA Certified Refuse to be a Victim Instructor, NRA Certified Shotgun Instructor, NRA Certified Range Safety Officer and an NRA National Membership Recruiter.
